Yea I agree with Jamie Montag does put a lot of hope into Faber even though he doesn’t know him that well. But then again Montag really has nobody else he can trust especially at a time like this. Montag kept going down the tracks and eventually runs into a bunch of other fugitives that gave him coffee and took him in. In my personal opinion Montag is really not that independent he counts too much on other people to survive. What I don’t understand is that the chase on T.V. with Montag was a lie. They showed that they caught him but really he got away. I dislike how the author made Montag escape so easily in such a strict society that won’t even allow one book to exist.
