So far to me the story seems like it is set in a fake world. Sometimes it seems as though it may just be really far in the future but then it doesnt make sense how nobody would know anything about the past. The only person that seems to know anything about the past is the girl from across the street, Clarisse McClellan. Also the jobs of the firefighters also makes me believe taht it is a fake world. The way that the firefighters start fire rather than put them out is somewhat unrealistic. So far the most interesting character to me in the story is Clarisse. There is something about her that makes it seem like she is way more knowledgable than anyone else in the story. It seems odd to me that she is quickly lifted out of the story without her even saying goodbye. I believe that the main character, Guy Montag will meet up with Clarisse again somehow. One character that seems very odd to me is Guy's wife. So far i dont really understand her character at all.
