I didn't like how it started off with the firefighter walking down the street and talking to Clarisse McClellan, because afterwards he discovered that he was not happy and it made the man feel very uncertain about himself. I like Montag because he didn't become very angry at his wife for taking all those sleeping pills. He asked her why and left it at that. But i do think that she is hiding something from him and the fact that she overdosed stands out in my mind as significant because she says she does not remember taking all those pills. How could she not remember taking all those pills? The authors style is very descriptive and symbolic, which makes it hard to follow what is true and what is not. It makes you feel like its hard to trust what is real and what is in the characters minds. It reminds me of being sick, and feeling not yourself because it almost feels like you cannot tell the difference between truth and reality.
